01Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how NestCut ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our panel cutting and nesting application. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and to describing honestly what the app does rather than claiming to do less.
02Information We Collect
What we receive depends on where you got NestCut.
Google Play version
The Google Play version has no sign-in and sends no personal information to us.
- NestCut Pro is bought through Google Play. Google tells the app whether your Google account owns it; we never receive your name, email address or payment details.
- When you open Version history, the app downloads the list of releases from our update server (storage.boofismart.ir). No personal information is sent; like any web request, the server can see your IP address and the time of the request, and we do not use them to identify you.
Website, Cafe Bazaar and Myket versions
To sign you in and check your licence, the app sends the following to our licence server (api.boofismart.ir):
- Your mobile number — this is your account. We text a one-time code to it to confirm it is yours.
- A device code — an anonymous code that lets us count how many devices use your licence. It is a one-way hash, so it cannot be turned back into your device's serial number or any hardware identifier.
- Your device name, operating system and app version — shown in your device list so you can recognise your devices.
- Your workshop or business name, only if you have entered one in Settings.
The server keeps your licence details (plan, expiry date, and the devices signed in to it). We use this information only to sign you in, enforce your licence and provide support. We never sell it or share it with advertisers.
03What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, process, or have access to:
- Your projects, parts lists, cutting plans or exported PDFs
- Your email address, home address or contacts
- Advertising identifiers or tracking IDs
- Location data (the app never requests location permission)
- Photos or camera images — QR codes are read on your device and nothing is saved or uploaded
- Card or bank details — payments are handled by Google Play or by the payment provider, never by the app or our servers
- Analytics, usage statistics or behavioural profiles
04Permissions
NestCut asks only for what a specific feature needs, and every optional permission can be refused without losing the rest of the app:
- Camera (optional) — scans a QR code to receive a project from another device. Images are processed on your device and never stored or uploaded. If you refuse it, every other feature still works.
- Internet and network state — to talk to Google Play about NestCut Pro (Google Play version), to sign in and check your licence (versions from our website, Cafe Bazaar or Myket), and to load the version history.
- Google Play Billing (Google Play version only) — to buy NestCut Pro and to restore it on your other devices.
- Wi-Fi multicast — lets devices on the same Wi-Fi find each other when you share a project over the local network.
The app does not request location, contacts, microphone, or access to your photos. When you open or save a file, you pick it yourself through the system file picker.
05Data Storage
Your work is stored locally on your device, and only there:
- Your projects, parts, materials and cutting plans
- Your settings and preferences
- Your offcut basket
- PDFs you export
This data is not transmitted to our servers and is not accessible to us or to any third party. It is removed when you uninstall the app.
06Sharing Projects
You can send a project to another device in three ways, and in each case you start it yourself:
- Share sheet — the project file is handed to the app you choose (for example email or a messaging app).
- QR code — the project is shown as a QR code and read directly by the other device's camera.
- Wi-Fi sharing — the project is sent directly between devices on your local network. It does not pass through the internet or our servers.
07Purchases
Google Play version: NestCut Pro is a one-time purchase made through Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), and the app receives only whether your Google account owns NestCut Pro.
Versions from our website, Cafe Bazaar or Myket: the app does not take payments itself. When you buy or renew a licence, our purchase page opens in your web browser with your mobile number filled in, so the licence goes to the right account. Payment is completed on the payment provider's secure page, and we receive only the confirmation that your licence was paid for, never your card or bank details.
08Third-Party Services
NestCut uses a small number of third-party services, strictly to deliver features you ask for:
- Google Play Billing (Google Play version) — to sell NestCut Pro and confirm that you own it.
- An SMS provider (versions from our website, Cafe Bazaar or Myket) — to deliver your one-time sign-in code. Your mobile number is passed to it for this purpose only.
- A payment provider (versions from our website, Cafe Bazaar or Myket) — to process licence purchases in your browser.
The app does NOT integrate with:
- Any analytics or crash-reporting service
- Any advertising network
- Any social media platform
- Any tracking or data-collection tool
09Advertisements
NestCut shows no advertisements. We do not:
- Display advertisements
- Collect data for advertising purposes
- Share information with advertising networks
- Sell or rent data to anyone
10Children's Privacy
NestCut is a professional tool for workshops and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11Data Security
All communication with our servers uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Your projects never leave your device unless you share them yourself, so they are protected by your device's own security. Where there is a sign-in session (versions from our website, Cafe Bazaar or Myket), it is kept in the app's private storage.
12Data Retention and Account Deletion
Google Play version: we keep nothing about you on our servers, so there is no account to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all of its data from your device. Your NestCut Pro purchase is kept by Google in your Google account.
Versions from our website, Cafe Bazaar or Myket: we keep your mobile number and licence details for as long as you have an account, so that your licence and purchase history remain available to you. You can sign a device out at any time from the account panel in the app.
To delete your account and all data we hold about you, send a request from your registered number, or include that number, to amin.joharinia@gmail.com or @BoofiSmart on Telegram. We will delete your account within 30 days, except for payment records we are required by law to keep.
13Your Rights and Choices
You remain in control at all times:
- Refuse or revoke the camera permission in your device settings
- Sign out of any device from the app (versions from our website, Cafe Bazaar or Myket)
- Ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it
- Delete all local data by uninstalling the app
14Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or in legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant changes by:
- Updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy
- Posting the updated policy in the app and on our website
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
